The USDOT Regions dataset contains the designated regions for each Operating Administration (OA) within the US Department of Transportation (USDOT). Included in the attribute table for each OA are the region name, region number, and office location, where applicable. There are no regions for the entirety of the USDOT. Data is pulled from the Census state boundary file on NTAD as well as the regional office websites. States are listed in regions via table/graph/or text. State’s boundaries are dissolved to form one cohesive entity.
